Glad for this guy. I hope he gets back into teaching as we need all the good teachers we can get. His talents are being wasted at Petco.

I doubt that he will ever teach again. If I were a man, I certainly would not go into teaching or coaching! I am surprised that we still have male teachers left in the education system at all. I know Brian Williams on the NBC news had a segment on male teachers needed, but who would with the allegations that teen girls will come up with if they don't get their way. I have also seen girls who think a teacher or a coach is "hot" and have emailed each other trying to one up saying they got to do this and this with him.

I saw a friend and co-worker go through this when a parent found emails that their daughter had written about being in a car making out with him. The girl had always said it wasn't true that she had made it up so her friends would be jealous, but it took 2 years and him losing everything before they dropped the charges. I have also had a family member lose his teaching license because he put poison ivy cream on a girl's leg. He was first aid and EMT trained, never thought anything of it. Then a few months later, he was not going to let her graduate without making up PE class, so she went to the principal with her claims of indecent touching. He was lucky and was not arrested or charged, but he left teaching and has never looked back.

we had a teacher accused of this in mequon wi. he was found innocent because the girls changed their stories. but here in wisconsin there is something called c-cap, which will list not only convictions, but also arrests. he can't work as a teacher anymore because of that arrest.

personally i think that if a man/woman is found innocent they need to charge the 'victim' for obstructing justice (felony charge), and all records are purged.

Very true! All of the haters are saying that RSOL-CA's case against Simi Valley has nothing to do with the 1st Amendment. For those who do celebrate Halloween religiously, it most certainly does. Very good point, anarchy!!!

no such thing as self incrimination--when you leave prison or put on probation, you have to give a dna sample, which at a later date could incriminate yourself.
