Look, we get what we pay for and maybe really should be careful in what we wish or ask for cause we may just get it shoved down our throats. Sad thing is, and let's be honest here, there are many family members of SO's who, before being caught in the chaos and whirlwind, advocated for these laws that they now say are unjust, which they are.

Fact is, unless someone is directly affected in a negative way that restricts or prevents their personal rights or liberties, then typically they just don't care. Problem here is that folks have adopted the belief "that could never happen to me" way of life that they live in this illusion that they are safe from such laws directly affecting them - then WAM it happens and suddenly they care.

I know this sounds all grim and what not, but it is human nature and behavior nonetheless, a fact check in reality and the world / government / society that we have created by our individual indifference to get involved and actually stand up and defend our rights and liberties, moreover, those around us. It is what we created and what we wished for back in the day when we believed it would never happen to us.
