Out of 3 CPS investigators only one believed me that I would protect my children from danger, and that one got replaced immediately after she filed a positive report. My children were interviewed and they were very clear that nothing inappropriate was happening.
I've had neighbors ask, though I do appreciate the courtesy of at least asking me to my face, if I thought I could really have an objective view of the situation since he's my husband.
And now I find out, a year later, that it was not CA denying him the interstate parole transfer---- it was TX refusing to accept him "because of the children in the home". No one even had the courtesy to contact me, to ask anything, to assess the situation...just no.
It's not that I don't see him honestly; he has a whole list of flaws (as do I). This is not one of them. And it INFURIATES me that people would think I would sacrifice my children's safety because of love/lust/whatever.

Long answer; you said that you're married, that is a very special relastionship. It is not entered into lightly nor should it be taken lightly (IMO). You know your husband best. It is possible to love the person not the act. As for the rest of it, it's bureaucracy. Once you become involved w/ some of the agencies( DOC, CPC, Parole, ect) , it takes a lot of time/effort to keep from being swallowed up by them.
I had pekoe tell me I was weak, because I didn't leave. That is so far from the truth! Leaving would have been the easiest thing I could have done; staying has been the hardest - but I don't regret it one bit.
