I don't know why I keep putting myself through this: I saw that my soon-to-be ex-daughter-in-law had posted a message about the sentencing being pushed back (which I knew because my son's lawyer told me the other day -- they couldn't get his evaluation scheduled in time before the September sentencing so now it's in October). Anyway, I went back to that post to see if anything else was said, and of course her friends had really nasty things to say about my son. I really should know better than to do that; I don't know why I did.

For the most part, I'm doing pretty well with the whole situation. For those who are just starting out on this journey, it's not that it becomes easier, it just becomes the new "normal." And this group has helped so much! I've learned so much here that has helped me get through this, knowing what to expect, etc.

If it just wasn't for "her" I'd be doing really well. But if I want to be involved in my grandkids' lives, I guess I have to put up with it.
