I don't always post, comment aand reply.. When I do its in bursts.. I do stop and read and check up a lot.. I send prayers and positive vibes to all regularly...

Where we have been...
Past few months me, my daughter & son have had a rough time.. He's spent the holidays as well as his 18th birthday in county jail in limbo.. No sentencing.. Just a continuance each month for one reason or another.. I started a new job finally.. Been searching out home schooling options for my daughter.. We finally hit the end of our 6 month waiting period in my daughters lawsuit against our school district.. The attorney will be submitting the formal request to put it before the courts... With some support and encouragement from some people in my life I've recently decided to be more open about my sons situation.. I've been amazed at how many people r in total shock and never realised how messed up these laws and this registry are.. They know 0 facts.. They only know the exaggerated scary crap they feed us.. I wanna be more open and I want to be more involved in helping make a change..

Where we are...
My son had court Monday.. The original prosecutor in has case had filed an initial proposal of 10 yrs.. Her and his attorney had spoke and started some very positive wheeling and dealing to lower that greatly.. Then she went into early labour and is on leave til January.. Her supervisor handling her cases told his attorney she won't agree to lowering it any period.. And since none of the precious wheeling and dealing had made it into any kind of writing she kinda can say what ever she wants.. So on Monday my sons attorney requested that this goes to trial.. He will be having my son sign a waiver of preliminary hearing.. That gets filed in a court date on Wednesday.. So I've had to accept I won't have my son home til next yr.. Its taking a huge toll on all of us.. I'm truly worried at what this holiday season is going to go like.. Trial scares me.. It could go better or it could go worse.. To help me deal with this I've tried to think of positives and came up with 2..

1) by time he does come home his sister ( SHE WAS NOT THE "VICTIM") will be at least 16.. Which is only one yr away from our states general "no contact with anyone under 17" rule or law..
2) the texts between the "victims" mom and myself, the texts between her and my son, and the ones from the "victim" to my son can all be presented as evidence.. I do think there would be some jurors at least that would Take those into consideration and that could possibly get at least 2 of his charges dropped.. If those 2 charges got dropped there is actually 2 dif laws in our state that would allow for possibly removing his name from the registry withing the next 10 yrs...

So that's where we r.. Lots of positive thoughts for all going thru this..
