I received the following message in an email from Missouri Citizens for Reform:

Dear RSOL,

We are working on organizing a Walk on Washington for 2012. Our mission is to raise awareness and educate the public on the injustices and loss of civil liberties of the registry. We need your feedback to fully prepare a walk of this magnitude.

Attached is a volunteer form for you and to share with others who may be interested in participating. Please ask everyone to complete the form and return to nyrsol@aol.com. There are countless ways to get involved in getting our voices heard.

I think the walk is a fantastic idea. Unfortunately I cannot afford to go. I thought if possible, those who cannot go to DC, do a walk at their own state legislature offices. Of course that might be expensive too. We are 2 hours away from OK City, and gas is attrocious here, but if we got the idea moving, the walk coordinators could develop carpools in each state!!! I know it would take a lot of work, but a nationwide walk in addition to Washington might get some attention. Just an idea.

I am in Oklahoma also about 1 hr away from OKC so I think car pooling might be the way to go also.

Wonderful idea somom, nationwide support for this would be a real headline grabber, maybe we can get some good press going this route.

Yes, it is a good idea but truthfully, I am not sure how they are going to draw that much support. Marketing this is going to be a major issue.
