Please find the post HR515 where there is a link to oppose this bill. This is vital! It only takes a few minutes and is super easy. We must defeat this! Unless you want your lives destroyed even further.

I have been a member on this site for years. I know it is designed to offer support. But what I have trouble with is why people complain about their circumstances but don't seem to do anything to help. It seems to always be the same people. Why?
Here in California we have been successful in many lawsuits. We were able to stop residency and presence restrictions. No small feat! But, again it's the same people who give their time, resources, and some who can afford, their money to help with the costs of lawsuits.

We now have a national bill, SR515, ready to attack again. Sure, it might not affect you but it will affect some. And yet again only those committed to fighting for everyone's rights even bother to take three minutes out of their day to respond. I guess I just don't get it.

Thank you for what you do, I do not get it either, I spoke to a group of people tonight, around 12 of them, told them what was happing, told them they could get involved or keep on with the pity party. 3 out of 12 said they would help, the others back to the party.

I agree it is time to stand up, stand strong and fight this injustice together. We can do it. Tell everyone you know to please take the time to vote NO on HR 515.

Thank you buildingupslow, I understand people's fears...I understand if someone's loved on is still in jail or prison, is on parole or probation...But, for example, in California there are 100,000 on the registry and yet only (as of now) 165 people have voted to oppose this bill. People talk about (poor me) I have to deal with all these restrictions or my loved on can't live with me etc etc. and yet, all they really want is for someone else to rescue them. Well, we all want to be recused, but that isn't going to happen. The only way we will see change is by STANDING UP, SPEAKING UP, FILING LAWSUITS AND VOTING.
