U.S. Judge Being Sued For Sexual Abusing Child

Richard Roberts, who had been chief U.S. judge in the District of Columbia since 2013, maintained a "predatory sexual relationship" in 1981 when the girl was a witness in a case he prosecuted in Salt Lake City, the lawsuit filed in Utah's federal court on Wednesday said.

The top prosecutor in central Michigan's Ingham County was arrested on Monday and charged with 15 criminal counts, including felony pandering and multiple prostitution misdemeanors, the state's attorney general said.

If you are a prosecutor who has gone after anyone with a crime of a sex offense, or a judge who has presided over criminal trials and sentenced those convicted of a sex crime, then commonsense and logic dictate that you really ought to know what constitutes a sex crime.

It really astounds me how those in government can think they are justified in committing sex crimes because they have a title in the same breadth of their slamming the ordinary citizen for doing the same things that those in government do no less.

A toxic inequality is built into the :justice system" that ends up with certain people thinking they have a right to do as they please with impunity while punishing others because they are already labeled as "the sort of people" who do 'those sorts of things. For example: Rob a bank go to jail be labeled 'criminal' forever... Be a hedge fund manager rob millions from millions of 'investors' get bailed out by the tax-payer/investor Some people / judges think they are too big to fail...no matter which crime they commit. Wonder which "Forever Registry" this judge will go on...or whether the prosecution will even proceed...This judge must have made someone very (politically) pissed off to get him self 'outed' as a "sexual predator" so many years later? Maybe slept with some other predator's wife?
