Twin brother locked away, after years still empty

Hello,


Its been 8 year since my twin brother got arrested for molesting maybe more my step sibling. I spend most of my teen life away from my brother because we got put into foster care due to our father molesting us. But as kids we always did our best to keep eachother safe. When I got out of foster care I moved in with friends and for some awful reason my brother moved in with my dad. I honestly feel he thought it was his only option. Not long after he got arrested for this. In court he said the reasoning was "my dad hurt my sister and I so why can't I do it?". I don't like feeling as if it was my fault or I could have done something to change it. The few times I have opened up to my friends they tell me he deserves to rot in there or some other dark stuff. Yes I disagree with what he did but that the end of the day he is my brother and I still care about him. Deep down I feel like my fathers abuse started the fire and I'm angry really angry. I just don't know what to do, mourn the loss of my brother and move on?

People who say such things are blinded by the evil one. All people sin and make mistakes. He needs help, something he won't get in prison. He will do better in life if he has people to talk too, pray with and find out why he did what he did. It is easy to throw people away, but hard to stick by them. But in the end, what would you like people to do for you? Good luck to you.

I do pray for him everyday more than I do myself because he and I were so connected. He does have some mental disabilities that can be out of control when he's not on his medication, I found out from his lawyer that our father refused to let him take his meds while staying with him. This probably added to the situation (not making excuses). I really don't want to throw people away I just don't know what to do? Should I write him letters? Should I get a P.O. box for my safety? I don't really know my brother anymore and haven't for a long time but just letting him sit in there alone for years like he has been just feels wrong to me. I just want reassurance that rehabilitation is possible with sex offenders, some sort of healing something. I don't want to think he's a lost cause. I want some one to listen. Anything..

Yes sex offenders can be rehabilitated! But heres the thing with it they gotta want it.
As for writing to him well it can only help and it might be a way for you to have your questions answered and yes a po box is a good idea to get if you do end up writing to him.
The thing with people saying what they are saying to you well there judging you by what they think they would do....... its easy to walk away harder to stay its your call.
