So I posted last WK about where we were with things and how uncooperative the prosecutor was being...

Wednesday morning was my sons court @10.. So around 7:30 his attorney went down to see him.. He had him sign the waiver for a preliminary hearing so we could take the case to trial.. He explained what would happen in court.. And told my son that in court he would present a final offer of time served and probation (and of course he would be in the registry) and said if the prosecution didn't agree he would file the paper..
The attorney got to the courthouse about 9:30.. My sons father got there about 9:45.. I was running a bit late.. As I was parking just before 10 my fone went off with a text from my sons father.. He said our boy was coming home and to hurry up getting downstairs so the attorney could explain..
Apparently since the prosecution knew of the intention to go to trial she had started speaking with the "victim" and her mother.. Both completely refuse to cooperate with a trial in any way.. Not sure what all was said or done.. But the prosecution approached my sons attorney when he got there and told him this.. She they said she would agree to a bond reduction for a signature bond.. She then went further and said shes willing to drop down all the charges to misdemeanor NON sex charges.. Time served.. No probation.. And in changing them to NON sex charges , no registry...
So Wednesday night my son walked out of county jail and back home where he belongs.. I'm still I'm shock, it still feels unreal.. Its almost scary to let myself fully relax and not worry... He goes back to court the first WK of January to make the deal official.. I'm loving every second of having him home.. And cherishing it all.. But I think until that court date comes and goes I'm gonna still be a nervous wreck and worried.. It seems too good to b true... Like there's gonna b a curve ball or something happen.. Ughh..

But I would like to thank ppl for their prayers, thoughts, & kind, supporting words.. It does help, it does work, it does make a difference.. Never give up, never lose faith.. We got our Christmas miracle.. All I wanted.. We wanted.. Was to have him home for the holidays.. It happened.. It can happen...
