Ok, this is, like titled, for exploring and discussing a possible legal action(s) from family members of registrants against 'THEM', I guess the particular person or entity will come later as more thought is put into this. Once some sort of consensus is reached on a plan, probably with options, I'll forward this thread on to RSOL to see what the RSOL legal team will say and advise. Folks are welcome to take this also to whatever professional legal advice lawyer/attorney they know also.

This thread will undoubtedly be read and picked up on by 'you know who', they scan this board (among many others probably daily. Anybody see this as a problem?

I like that idea. Everybody has a right to "Freedom of Speech" and RSOL has connections to attorneys and legal teams for advice. Thanks for posting.

I have often wondered why this wasn't done. The laws impact everyone in the household and that is more than wrong.

I did not read this before posting on the other thread, but yes, I have a problem with a public forum. I do not think is good strategy, after all, this is much like a war, us against them. Would you announce your next move where the enemy would get wind of it? I will let others weight in and decide.

What I have for the moment is private members only forum running. It's fairly simple and straight forward but you are welcome to use it. The long term plan is to have a group for this kind of thing on GoverningUs.com but right now I have no idea what the timetable is for that.

Guys (and ladies), I just want everybody to understand, when the plan(s) are finalized, I can only go and present the ideas to RSOL. I'm just speaking for myself. I can PRESENT it, and see what the Legal Committee thinks. They may have looked at this issue, maybe it's something that's already being formulated, who knows. It may get dismissed, for reasons we don't see. It's VERY difficult to mount a challenge, several things have to fall into place. And, it takes lots of money. I know that the legal minds are taking a lot of time and care in crafting challenges, one of the biggest reasons we've learned the hard way, and that is has to be just the right challenge, with some real measure of success, and the wrong challenge can very likely blow up in our faces, resulting in a negative ruling, which means mot only a loss, but affects us in a even more negative way.

So, I can certainly pitch the proposal(s), but you need to understand it might lead to nothing. We'll see, and we'll 'blow up that bridge when we come to it'. If so, we'll just have to think up something else.

Women Against the Registry is trying to get the word out in every state to help registrants and family of registrants. They have a great leader in Vicki Henry but need many more volunteers and money. My state is terrible and members are less then a handful. That's the big problem!

This is not an activist forum for two reasons, the first one is that this is a support site... Been seeing a lot of activist talk on here over the last week or two... I am guilty too, I know... But I must slap my own wrist here and say that the second reason that this is not an activist forum is because it is PUBLIC, searchable by all major search engines and NOT PRIVATE in any way. I don't know of a single business that conducts business publicly like that...

I know that many of you are excited and want to help, but please let's do it in a private forum such as sofarproject.org or one of the other private areas for folks like us.
