Close to Home: Remembering 'the night of shattered glass" 75 years later.

This gave me chills..VERY eerily similar to what we are going through as registrants, and what we can only assume would be the progression. 'For the sake of the children' and 'community safety'. I want ANYONE, to look at me with a straight face, and tell me this is not the same type of attitude and action registrants and their families are experiencing. And everybody gets SO offended when you bring up the similarities, that one would even DARE compare what happened to the poor Jews with what happens to SO's and their families.

Kristallnacht, an act of domestic terrorism. These pogroms are truly frightening, but I can see the parallel.

The world is not only allowing antisemitism to rear its ugly head again, but it is actually encouraging it. The way things are going, history will repeat itself...except for the hand of G-d. Bible prophecy tells us how it will all turn out.

And, yes, the same people who are willing to repeat it will also do it to others. During Hitler's time over half of those killed were Jews. But there were also the disabled (in any way, shape or form...including the deaf and blind and even including the productive), the mentally ill, those they deemed to be "deviant", the Roma, the Polish and some other religious and ethnic groups.

Prejudice and hatred are not limited to just one or two people groups.

Like many tragic events in the USA (back to and including the death of Adam Walsh) the media attempts to lead the readers to a certain conclusion while actively avoiding any real evidence. The public is convinced that the system is working through corporate produced, made-for-audience, fiction and docudramas. The bet is that the American audience will swallow anything they are feed in the media instead of spitting it back out. The bet is working out very well; I even think it is working on the hundreds of thousands of sex-offenders and their families at their expense, then the very afraid and hypnotized masses that want to make harsher laws and then the 800 thousand seem to go right along with it.

inaction is what is killing us.
