If you aren't familiar with the annual Shiitake Awards, this is an award show in the spirit of the Razzies where we "award" the dumbest laws, politicians, and news hounds who abuse sex offenders for personal gain. Every year I host an award show on Youtube, which is entertaining. It is a fun project but it also points out the absurdity of sex offender stories and laws. I hope people can listen in. You can also listen over the phone, and I will take calls.

Those vigilantes just go nuts if a ex offender has a FaceCrook account like its some sort of elite club. I'm always entertained in reading the comments of the clinically insane rants.
This was a super hard year to vote!
I am aiming for a hundred voters and I'm almost a fourth of the way there this first day of voting. I hope more DS members will cast their ballots as well.
Derryn hinch aka the human headline: this clown would like to see the same laws that you guys have in some of your states....inculeding life time reg, the big red sings, and all the reast of it.....he also was done for sleeping with a 15 year old module that he believes was 18 at the time.the charges where later dropped.
Denis lock them up napthine: this guy is out to lock as many people up as he can with his tough on crime out look even to the point where he would love to stop parole......this guy has cursed a lot of stress in the system and for people like me.
Peter Ryan and Edward o'Donohue both work the above clown and toe the party line.

Explain to me who the nominee is and why he/she is nominated. It really helps to have a picture of the nominee. I generally select nominees for the acts committed in the year they did something stupid. I have had people from Canada, the UK and Australia in previous elections.
Thus, I couldn't accept a nomination for John Walsh, for example, for something he did in 2003, but I can for something he does in 2014.
