The Rights of The People
Since the 9th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution says, “Amendment IX
The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.”
and the 10th Amendment says, “Amendment X The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.
The power of the people to control the government is obvious. Not in a manner that is consistent with how the government tells them they can, but in a way that is consistent with the ideas and principles of the people themselves.
The powers of the people under the 9th and 10th amendments of the U.S. Constitution guarantee, that all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights; that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness; that, to secure these rights, governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed; that whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government, or limit the powers of the government on any level.
The process of changing, altering or abolishing the government is entirely in the hands of the people. Not to be controlled by any process that the government has set forth.
There are many rights contained in the 9th and 10th amendments of the U.S. Constitution which may be only possessed by the people.
One such right is the right of the people to be represented by legal counsel.
In any case which threatens the liberty of any individual, that individual has the right to be represented by legal counsel weather it be in local, state or Federal Court.
And weather it be in criminal or civil court.
There of the people are immune from usurpation by the state under any claim of ,” Vested Interest” or any other claim.
If at any time the people feel that the government has usurped their rights, or that the government has become oppressive or destructive to the life, liberty and happiness of the people, the people have the right to alter and change the course of those laws by removing them, limiting them or by limiting the powers of government to enforce such laws.
The people have the right by means of simple ballot vote to limit the powers of the local state or federal legislators, governors or the president of the united states, either temporarily or permanently.
Or to alter, change or abolish the government in what ever way they have the courage to so do.
The 9th and 10th amendments guarantee the rights of individuals just as it protects the rights of the People as a whole. For the whole is made up of individuals and unless the individual is protected, then neither is the whole.

However, this is a topic that needs to be discussed by all of us. This government is OUR responsibility if we like it or not.
It has become a run away train and some times when train is a run away, the only option to keep it from causing a disaster is to simply derail it.
Unfortunately, too many people are not willing to get involved in this discussion.
They are more inclined to complain rather than act.
However, the only positive results are going to come from action.
