Hey Everybody,
I live in GA but my family lives in Pittsburgh, PA. I am unwelcome where my wife and son live, even temporarily while I find housing.
To do the Interstate Compact, I need an address before I submit the paperwork.
It will be nearly impossible
A) to find a place that will take an SO / felon
B) Pay for the place for up to 6 months while the IC works its way through the system
C) Potentially have the IC denied for whatever reason. I've then paid for a place I didn't live in, and then need to start over.
Does anybody have ANY suggestions in how to pull this off without a small fortune?
Any suggestions on where to find an SO friendly landlord, or some sort of pre-approved temporary housing for me to transition to?
I don't know if it was true or not, but a Pitt PO told me that if I moved into a hotel, I'd be considered transient. They don't allow transients - and I'd end up back in jail. HUH WTH is up with that?
Any ideas? I know I've posted about this before and I'm just now getting into a position to where I can move. Maybe 3 or so months away from now.

Can you check classified for a single room or sub let? Or maybe to be roomate? Issue with is you need to be honest on your status.
There has to be someone out there with compassion and empathy.
Perhaps living with someone who needs daily help kind of like a caregiver.
Keep looking. You will definately have to jump through hoops.
