States that don't notify country you move to

Hi All,

Yeah, reading some of the stories on this board can knock you out for a couple days...

Sorry for some of the crazy very unreasonable and totally unnecessary things people have to go through to just try and live their lives.

Some people read those 2 or 3 words we know about, and any type of logic and reason flies right out the window, no questions asked. Jumping to all types of completely unrealistic crazy conclusions.

Just wondering if anyone has come across any states that don't notify a country you may be visiting or moving to?

I know Florida does. Thought I saw another thread on the board were someone mentioned Utah.

Was wondering about Oregon. Seems like from what I've been reading the only state that is trying to take a reasonable approach to the whole issue of registering.

Would like to hear about this also. hoping to find a state with reasonable POs. Was looking at South Carolina and they said no SOs at the beach! Really?? why? people are everywhere, and can see you. Stupid rules written by uninformed people.

It will depend on whether or not you are on supervision. If the states that you are registered in report, etc.

MN has some reasonable registration laws.

I'm not on supervision, but florida contacts the country you're traveling to or florida contacts US immigration who in turn contact the country you're traveling to.

I today found an interesting report the gov put out about the crazy sonar thing.

Page 39 has a chart that shows 30 countries who were contacted by immigration authorities about registered people who would be traveling to each of the countries. Chart shows the number times the country was notified and the number of times someone was denied entry.

I was surprised at the small number of times countries were contacted, except for Mexico, which was about 300, although it looks like not too many were denied entry.

Canada seems to have denied entry to most people proportionately to the times they were contacted.

Not sure about countries but in NE the person on the registry is required to let the sheriff's office of the County they are visiting know they will be at a certain residence and for how long they will be there. Also have to notify the sheriff's office of where a person register's to let them know you will be out of town and for how long.
