Speeding tickets

My guy just got a speeding ticket. He was going down a hill and there was a cop at the bottom clocking people. Are speeding tickets considered a violation of probation? The cop said he just has to do the class but I don't know if we should expect any larger repercussions. I'm kind of freaking out

It shouldn't be a violation. Just have him call his PO to report the police contact. This happens everyday, unless he has a lot of other PO issues this shouldn't be a big deal.

He already let his PO know. Apparently all he has to do is take his ticket in next time they meet. We have had absolutely no issues with either PO he has had and he hasn't stepped a toe out of line. His first PO was just so repetitive on the "any infraction" or law breaking would be a violation I was scared, especially when we made so much progress in court last month.

PO's always want to know if you've had any police contact. Not sure why but it's a question they always ask me.

I've been pulled over twice. Once for an improper lane change (I was in danger of being hit head on if I didn't) and for having an obscene decal on my car (A picture of Calvin peeing on the Chevrolet emblem! The officer told me to just remove the pee stream and I'd be okay. Silly!) Each time I was given a warning. Both times the officer was very friendly...
