yes a couple of years back FL passed the law that a cartoon drawing of children involved in sexual activity is the same as CP - it is insane and a prime example of how out of hand these things have become

Echo - I do not think your statement is far fetched at all - it is getting so crazy and not only with sex crimes - people are being arrested for hundreds of crimes every day for things that are beyond belief. My 89 yr old Mom (lived a long time and seen a lot of things) makes many comments not only about sex crimes but other things that people are being arrested for today. She often says laws change but humans do not - I think what she means is that we are punishing people for being human and taking the humanity out of laws and law enforcement.

I tell my daughter all the time to think twice about where and when she changes my grandsons diaper - think about this also - when little boys are little and potty trained moms often take them in the ladies room with them to use the bathroom - I would be terrified that they would arrest me today for subjecting the minor or something.

i watch countless parents take their child into the restroom with them. and i swear that some of them have seemed to be up to the age of 8. honestly, a child of 7 or 8 do not need to be taken to the restroom of the opposite sex. sure take/escort them to the restroom if you want but let them go into the correct one, they are plenty old enough to use the correct restroom. but when when there are children on the registry as young as 8? why take the chance on the hysteria that is going on.

i have a 4yro grandson and one day a little while back i was watching him. during that time i went to the bathroom and shut the door. he opened it, while it doesn't actually bother me that he did so? knowing what i know now i chewed his little self out for doing it. then explained that it wasn't the right thing to do and that it was very, very rude, he was upset. he told my son about it and my son got a little upset and asked me about it. i explained to him about the little kids on the registry and the 5yro who is now classified as a sex offender at his school and that it's in his permanent school records. he was incredulous! i don't want to feed any paranoid and fear, but i did want him to be aware of the total bull-crap of the offender hysteria.

my son is in complete support of his sister. we do quite a bit of talking and he knows a lot more now than what he use to about all the sex offender stuff? but he doesn't do the reading about it that i do and hasn't come to understand or know the extent and widespread net that that is going on.

Susan Powell. Wether you think her husband is guilty / innocent of her abduction and most likely murder, the police never could find enough evidence to charge her husband with anything. That in itself didn't make sense to me, is circumstantial evidence of that magnitude not enough to charge someone?? ANYWAYS the public was sooo pissed that it looked like her hushed would walk, they demanded something be done. So the cops charged his father with possession of cp because he had porn on his computer that was of carton characters, and -lol- a trained doctor was able to conclude the cartoon images depicted minors, not adults. So they charged him and took the boys away from their father and well.. We know the rest. Omg so much pain surrounding that story. Can you imagine how those kids felt when there dad killed them because he was desperate not to have them taken away from him. What if he didn't do it. Let's just say he was innocent. HOLY SHIT .. he couldn't bear to part with his kids so he killed them, killed himself and set the house on fire. Six months later his brother jumped off a building and killed himself too. So much pain and darkness. I have had some dark moments, but they pale in comparison. And that is something I am grateful for . Amen

you would reasonably think that with what is already going on with the SO laws and all the horrible perv SO's that they already have, that they wouldn't feel the need to also look for fake or pretend ones.
