Although we are 8 years away from this...my brother is so curious to know....his probation states that he has to take classes. I guess its set of classes until he finishes? Has anyones family attended these classes?

I would like to think that in eight years the registry and its classes will have been done away with. At the rate we are going i dont see how it could sustain itself for that long

i've attended many therapy classes both group and private. i've also taken SOT (sex offender treatment), while in prison. i've even had to sit in the chair and take the penile plethysmography (electro shock treatment). btw i was 20 and my victim was 15 when i went to prison (i know justification but i wanted you to know).

just so you know penile plethysmography was ruled cruel and unusual so your brother will not have to do that.

The probation states that when he is released he has to attend therapy classes. I think it is very strict and once per week and he has to pay for them....
anarchy304, I am sorry you had to endure something like that.
They tried to do therapy in prison but they expected him to stand up and describe each charge and what he did. He stood up and said I will not, because I did not do anything. After an arguement they dismissed him from the class.
