I felt terrible for you, reading your post. I know how lost you must feel. We are here for you. And the fact that you are in a different location makes it even harder. I will say a prayer for you, your son and your family.
Instead of helping families, our system destroys them

That is so terrible, and I know how lost you must feel right now. Why does it only take a person to accuse someone, and that makes the person automatically guilty? It is scary since anyone who does not like you, simply can accuse you of anything, and you will be the one having to prove that you are innocent. it is crazy.

I feel your pain tearsforson. I found out when about 10 sheriff/U.S. marshalls showed up at my door and took my son away. He has always been very good, never in trouble, etc so I had no clue whatsoever that he was in trouble. His was online viewing of pics of minors so even though it was horrible there was no involvement of family members in person. With that said it has affected the entire family, including his brother who is a sheriff and the father of 3 girls. We have all stepped forward as a family and support him completely! Though we don't accept, understand or condone what he did, he is still our family member and loved and we will get through this. Explain to your daughter/granddaughters that you are sickened by the accusations but as his mother you are determined to help your son get couselling, etc, and help him recover from this sickness the same way you would help your other family members through any hardships. Explain the pain this has caused you and make sure you offer (even if you have to mail a card or letter) to help the granddaughters and daughter get through this pain as well. I will keep you in my thoughts as it is devastating as a parent when our children go through something like this. Please keep us posted!

I am in agreement of your every prayer . God can truly turn the worst of the worst totally around into a best for us that love him . I lift you up in the name of Jesus that all the needs of each one involved are met and that forgiveness and mercy rule the day . I just saw your post. It is so sad to hear that you and your family are caught up in this. These kinds of things do destroy families, but only because there is a belief that this is what has to happen. It isn't true. There are many, many stories of forgiveness. We rarely hear about them because these people have actually gone on to live happy, productive lives. It doesn't mean that there isn't pain or that the behavior is condoned. Sometimes the victim and the person who committed the crime actually are able to have a reasonable relationship, usually many years later, though.

This IS possible!

Unfortunately, except for political extremists, this is probably the biggest manifestation of the "hater" phenomenon in our country today. It is our experience, but it is not real. Hate is not real. As many great teachers came to show us, only love is real.

This is your family. They need your love whether they choose to return it or not.

This is a very rough time you are entering. Been there! Don't want to go back. It is very, very hard. It's easy to forget that we love people who are so hateful to us. But if you can focus on love for e eryone involved even for a little bit every day, I think you will be surprised at how much it helps.

Every day every body asks for love in some way. When you withhold love, you don't get any back. When you focus on love, no matter what the world throws at you, you will get it back in maybe some surprising and pleasant ways!

Such a hard place to be. My son is coming up for trial after being in jail for a year for molesting his daughter. Yes, it can destroy families. I encourage you to put it into G-d's hands. Nothing happens that He does not either allow or cause. There is no third option. He will do something through this, but there will most likely be a lot of grief and trouble before you can see any good come out of it. For me, He is my only real hope and comfort in out situation.
