I have a lett from my attorney stating that she was told by the director of a P.O. that the WHOLE PB will back up the P.O. every time.
Soooo In my personal case....When I asked my sons P.O. Why he lied about what I told him (P.O> ) at my sons PB hearing" he then got pissed and now my son isn't allowed to live with me and the whole NJSPB agrees.
Im fully disabled. My son was/Is my only caretaker. the P.O. was pissed at ME so he took it out on my son and me KNOWING I am disabled.
A P.O. can have a bad day...lie.....and get away with it.
Parole boards expect US/ME/YOU to lie and STFU to accept their narrative.
Its time we started at the bottom of the food chain and go after the P>O>'s
You file a complaint. Provide FACTS. Documents. Videos or voice recordings if allowed.
Keep them mired in the muck they created.
File countless Pro Se motions to have things clarified or overturned.
Keep them on their toes and make them live by their own laws. Their own Mission statements.
Nobody said or is suggesting there wont be pain or retaliation by them. Just cover your own ass.
Memorialize EVERYTHING. A phone call. A conversation. A question.
Follow them up with a letter of understanding. EG. Per the conversation between myself and P,O. such and such yesterday, it is my understanding That: .....(fill in the blanks) Unless further clarified then this letter memorializes that conversation. Signed (your name)
One thing I am certain about with the court system. PAPER !!! Lots and lots of dated paper. Nothing can be denied if it's memorialized. The court will recognize it as "Intent".
Create a paper trail.
Understand something else please. You aren't going to win every battle. Pick some that you know you will loose. Hit them with those then throw in the one you really want and that is your strongest case
Prosecutors use that ploy all the time. They hit you with 4 things and know only one will stick. But they get the others on the record anyway.
So do the same back to them.
Thats how you start to win this battle.
.
The question listed by the OP made me think about the importance of a paper trail.
What if.....the parent refused to sign for the minor?
Anyone know what might happen then?
