90 days exactly and was called to see his councilor.
"This lady was not very nice. Very accusing. Thought my family was crazy to still be there. She didn't say that directly but there no taking the head shakes any other way....she took the letter from Mom's doctor and acted pussed and shook her head again. She said 'just because (he) screwed up that the family shouldnt suffer and she tries to place people close to their families...she kept asking 'why I did it. Why would she lie? Does your sin know?' She couldn't believe he wants anything to do with me.
He has been classified as a level 4, one point away from being a level 3. Good news is that she is recommending his first placement choice 45 min away from where we live (vs 1.5 hrs), on the flip side the 2nd option is 3 hrs 20 min away. We have been praying for the first choice - they don't like problem prisoners.
For prayer warriors, please pray for the first option, for everyone else, please cross you fingers...

i hear so many horror stories about councilors like this..keep your head up and heart resolved and never show them doubt. you really need to change your name...you are anything but....! lol. hope you dont have to deal with her too often.

It could have been a lot worse, CA also sends its inmates to other states. He could have been sent to NM or AZ. And thanks for crossing your fingers for me, I appreciate it. :-)
