All across America, from California to New York,Michigan to Louisiana sex crimes are going on daily. Television reports the news to an eager crowd of anticipating watchers and the viewers are not let down.
Sex crimes are prevealent and widespread. Men, Women and Children are being arrested and charged with a rash of new GET TOUGH ON SEX CRIMES legislation laws; 17 year old kids in Georgia, and 58 year old Delegates , like Chairman of the General Assembly's western Maryland delegation, Robert A. McKee. The difference in how the cases are handled by the courts is what is staggering.
Take for instance, the Hope Mills man accused of downloading child porn:
A Hope Mills man is accused of downloading videos and photos of child pornography onto his computer. Bradford Glen Reed, 35, of the 5600 block of Walkabout Road, turned himself in to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday, said Debbie Tanna, a sheriff’s spokeswoman.He is charged with 22 counts each of second- and third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, Tanna said.Investigator found two videos and 20 pictures of children engaging in sex acts downloaded on Reed’s computer, Tanna said. Reed’s bail was set at $176,000. The Sheriff’s Office worked the case with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Fort Bragg Criminal Investigative Division, Tanna said.
Contrast that with the story of a Government Official:
ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Delegate Robert A. McKee, chairman of the General Assembly's western Maryland delegation, resigned Friday, saying in a statement that he has "entered treatment" after investigators searched his home during a child pornography investigation.
Washington County Sheriff Douglas Mullendore confirmed that the case is a child pornography investigation. Mullendore said investigators conducted the Jan. 31 search of the home after receiving a phone call from someone who told them about child pornography at the residence. Mullendore said investigators seized several computers, about 30 video tapes and printed material containing logs of different information.
Mullendore said the sheriff's department asked for FBI assistance, partly because the investigation involved a public figure. Charges have not been filed, and Mullendore said he did not know when, or if, charges would be filed.
And everyone knows the name Mark Foley, but does everyone know the fact that his lawyer tied the case up in court so long, that he was never convicted of anything?
He got off totally free by delaying the courts long enough for the statute of limitations to run out on his crimes in Florida.
The Rich, and members of the Police, Government, Court Systems go free, the public goes to prision.
