I thought I'd share my experience with going to Montgomery AL to fight an anti-clustering bill. It will give anyone who has never testified before the legislature a taste of the process.

Good job - but I cannot believe the disrespect of that committee - well most of them - but I love that there were a few that ganged up on them and the DA! I also love that it was in Montgomery - the heart of the Civil Rights movement. Good job!

Well for now, I can only play the waiting game. The bill has been revised, though the revision is not available yet.

The purpose of the bill is obvious, to stop a halfway house.

There are some small and petty people in the Alabama Government. If there is to ever be justice in alabama these people need to be under indictment for their ties to special interest groups.

If the upcoming Supreme court ruling makes some of the laws unconstitutional Do you think it is going to be possible to sue for damages.. It would really make my day to put Alabama in receivership even if I never say any of the money.... (PS) I love my state (Alabama) just would love to run the crooked politicians out of it. Most people in my State are good people , it just that they elect the traveling snake oil peddlers into government offices.
