All I can say is how stupid! What do you think they are going to do, pick up a girl in the school....with everyone present......well I think the dangers in the school are caused more by the students themselves......I heard of the kids getting beat up in the bathroom......drugs.....gamgs......and so forth........they are the ones that need to be policed! Damn waste of money.......

I live in Detroit. Believe me, the public school system here has MUCH larger problems than RSOs being in school buildings. Given the dire financial situation the school system is in, I cannot believe they'd waste money on this. Teachers are being asked to take a 10% pay cut (after taking a pay cut just a few years ago), and they are closing down schools all over the city. There is so much mismanagement, and this is an example of it.

AFAIK, there have been ZERO cases of children or teens being abducted/harassed/preyed upon by RSOs when they are at school. It's an extremely expensive solution to a non-problem.

I agree with twoforjoy,my brother lives right out of Detroit and that state has more money problems than any state in the country...I dont think this kind of system will just be limited to Detroit for long...Whats next Food stores and the mall...!
