Psych Evaluation

Has anyone been required to have a psych evaluation performed in a residential facility by staff at the bureau of prisons to confirm a mental illness? If so, what was the process; how long did it take; was it a fair evaluation; what was the name of the facility? Thanks for any information.

I paid $2,500 for my own evaluation using the same guy the state would have chosen should they have requested one. So I knew he would have been acceptable. He gave me a good evaluation although the judge refused to even read it. It stateted that I was not even close to being a threat to anyone.

They replaced the Plethysmography test with a computer program that showed you pictures and measures the amount of time you looked at each one...

I did the same test Free. I am glad I didn't through the plethysmograph. I have seen tests showing it can be inaccurate, I wonder how the tests would differ from the picture.

I found the testing process to be fair, but I didn't do it in a residential facility by staff of the bureau of prisons, so I think that would have made it a lot worse.
