I read a newspaper article where politicians and judges were meeting to discuss reducing sentencing of non violent crimes and crimes where people did not know it was a crime. I put this in another forum and they deleted it. Not sure why. Anyway the group that reported it, is the one who is planning the demonstration in DC. I really hope this helps our love ones. I also watched Ravi Zacharias last night and he talked about one of his best friends was a federal judge. The judge told him he often cried when he went home at because he had to give these ridiculous sentences to people who are good people that made dumb mistakes. He stated mans laws are not God's laws and he was torn between the two. He wanted to make a difference, but died young and never had the chance. NOT all judges and LE are terrible people, it takes time to change people.

Our church is also trying to make changes with purchasing two homes to house people on parole to have a roof over their heads, yes SO's too. We are also distributing 2000 bags of supplies for a women's prison the state prison said they don't have money for...again ridiculous, but instead of arguing, we are doing it...Hope and working together can make changes. Call me Pollyanna, but I see things turning around.
