So my boyfriend had his first polygraph...and he FAILED! We were looking forward to less restrictions, and some celebrating....he has been doing everything he's been asked and the one question he "had a reaction" to was whether he was viewing or concealing cp....of course he is not and apparently false positives can come from the individual feeling guilty about their crime while answering those questions.

Is it ever going to get better? Is he ever going to be free from this? I feel like if it's not one thing, the Feds find ANOTHER....it's so lonely! If we tried to share with anyone - who would believe? "The polygraph tells all...." Well I'm here to say it does not. It's caused some tension between us...because of course I'm like, well what if the polygraph is right? But I know that he has moved on from that...he is in therapy...he cried from all the pressure and hardship. What is he supposed to do??? I just feel so bad for him, and I also fear for what will happen to me if I stay with him. But at this point I don't think I could be with anyone else...I feel strongly about sex offenders needing love and support, that they need second chances...and I'm afraid to know what others think about them - I don't think I could bear hearing what people would say about the man I love. I already can't...I'm just so frustrated...not just for this...but for this world...it's so full of sin and brokenness...hardship and pain...trials...no matter what situation We all will have them...and I just feel cornered like there is nowhere to go - it is all inevitable. I wish I could tell my friends and have them support us rather than tell me to run...i feel so alone. And so does he. Idk what to do. We feel like we're drowning.
