"Pervert Park" on PBS

Who watched this yesterday? I generally liked it. It showed the human side of the sex offenders. I'm thankful that she created a place for sex offenders to call home. I hope more people will be more understanding towards those that live at Florida Justice Transitions and not harm or harass them. We are human beings too who have made mistakes. What did you think of this documentary?

I saw it a couple of months ago and really liked it. I wish there were more places like it around the country. It's almost impossible to get in touch with anyone there by email at least I haven't been able to figure out how, I also like how they show the juman side of people

I too wish there were places like this trailer park throughout the nation. According to this source: http://www.wtsp.com/news/local/pervert-park-documentary-on-pinellas-sex-offenders-to-air-on-pbs/268383504 they moved. I also wish there were more documentaries like this one. These men and women are good people. I pray for sex offenders and their families everyday.

Having watched the film, I can say it is good if you look at it from the standpoint that it is just a film about the Florida Justice Transitions program and nothing more. If you are looking at it with the expectation of it being more than just that, like a film about long-term solutions, you will be disappointed.

personally, I didn't come in with the expectation it was anything more than film about the FL Justice Transitions trailer park. I didn't come in expecting to hear facts and figures or a big debate on the laws. To that end, I would say I recommend it, at least more than Untouchable.

I didn't know what to expect from this program. I am glad it showed the people in a more positive way than what the media usually does. I saw Lisa Ling's program about sex offenders a few years ago and I thought that was good, but we need more of these programs that show the human side of sex offenders and the hardships we go through.
