I read some blogs just googling and I came across people stating that it would be good to write to the Parole Board earlier than the hearing because its showing that your loved one is improving, etc. Anyone here know about this? I think I may write a letter sooner than next year. Also, can you give me points on what I need to write?

Don't say he didn't do it! They are mostly looking for if he has support, a place to go to, what sort of work he wants to do, if he has transport, if family and mates are supporting him and if you can financially support him when his home you can mention any programs that his done and how you support him doing them and if you have seen any changes for the better in him.
There pretty much about showing that he has support on the outside.
