I found my picture and Name on one of those sites Even though i have been off of the Registry for 2 years this is what i said.....IN looking at one of the pictures on here i saw a name i went to check that Name with the Megans Law website that names does not appear on the OFFICIAL Megans Law website so i have to infer from this that this person no longer has to register as a matter of fact i also called the ATTORNEY General's office in regards to this and I was told that if the name is NOT on the OFFICIAL Megans law website then that person NO LONGER has to Register.......so if they no longer have to REGISTER why would your site want to post this in my opinion MISINFORMATION yes i know it is public records but if this person no longer has to register they are no longer bound by the sex offender registration rules meaning they can live where they want go to any park and or school or to the movies so what you are doing is doing a disservice by posting the name and address where this person lives because if the ATTORNEY General's office no longer sees this person as a threat then they should be left alone and this is what they said orarchives moderator

This is an Archive of PUBLIC RECORDS. The fact that a Sex Offender is no longer required to register does not mean the record itself goes away. The court records still exist correct? Typical rule is once public record always a public record. There is also a FREE REVIEW PROCESS FOR THOSE THAT FEEL THEY HAVE A VALID REASON that a record should be removed. so of course i had to come back with this......@sorarchives that is true HOWEVER if someone was to just look at it on this site it see sex offender when if you were to go to the OFFICIAL MEGANS LAW website and the name IS NOT there THAT means THAT person no longer has to abide by any of the OFFICIAL MEGANS LAW rules which means if they are off of that site then they SHOULD not have their names and address on a site saying that they are a OFFENDER if you didnt grab the offender off of the MEGANS law website you would have no idea that the person was on there because you pulled it off and i checked and found that person is no longer there.......you are giving out MISINFORMATION because this persons name is NOT on the OFFICIAL MEGANS law website..it just makes me mad that I do not have to live under the SO laws anymore and they dont have my name and or address up on their site only to have these clowns tell me its public anyway i am so mad right now i cant even see straight!
