I hope you're all well. You may recall my speech to the RSOL conference in 2011 in which I detailed my 2010 run for Cuyahoga County Council. This May, 2014, the countywide executive position is an open seat. I'm goin' for it.

In Cleveland, my last name is county ballot gold. I believe that makes me the frontrunner, as none of the other candidates are known recognizable names in county politics. It's a crowded primary, likely to be bitterly divisive among the Democratic primary. I will only need 30% to win.

If I win, it will be massive news worldwide, and an enormous step forward for our cause. So I'm asking for your help.

First - I am not asking for money. My message is to get money out of politics - I will not raise, or spend, a single nickel. I believe the reason we are the brunt of this society, at it's core, is money. If our elected leaders don't govern us with money, our humanity returns. Plus, my last name is already the most recognized name in Cuyahoga County politics, I don't need money. So don't send me money!!!!

Second - the local media loathes me, for obvious reasons, and will not cover my race. I think national press, however, will eat this story up. I know that RSOL activists have contacts within media across the country. So my specific request -

Please let any media you are connected to about my race. Local, national, international, anyone. If I can get a tiny bit of fair-ish media treatment, it will go a VERY long way. CNN, BBC, national papers are ideal. Local TV is great too. They eat us up like catnip. I'm happy to feed them.
