This is seriously the beginning of something very ugly. If one homeowners association does it.....then more will follow. This could be a nightmare for so many.

That is so true Laurie once they see that someone else can do it and get away with it more will follow so much for the CONSTITUTION it is just so sad because a lot of people have died for EVERYONE'S freedom died for the CONSTITUTION died for freedom did they all die in vain? were did the freedom go? what was the sense in the AMERICAN REVOLUTION? because they were tired of tyranny and oppression what was the point in sending all of those men to fight Germany? so that what Hitler did to not just the German Jew but to gypsies gays people with disabilities political prisoners stripping people of their homes their freedom putting them in ghettos concentration camps killing them.to stop him. only to have the things that they fought so hard for only to happen here anyway no we are not killing anyone but still saying this is the land of the free yet you can't live here because of something you have done years ago or for looking at something on the computer you may act on it or for not giving a E mail address we will put you in jail. there is a story on KTLA.com where a 4 year old girl was missing and the father found her nude and in a mans apartment i want to know how all of these SO laws help this child? this man was NOT on the registry they all say "If it just saves one child" i want to know how was this child protected?(yes i know i am rambling) this just proves that these laws do absolutely NOTHING to protect anybody and of course in the comment section someone said he was a RSO well i looked up his name and he is NOT on there

Firecracker,there s a water front community about 30 miles from me in galvestion texas thats had the "No Sex Offender law" for 20 years. Believe me laws like this have been around awhile ...all it takes is afew crazy ass better than thou homeowner association members putting the "Ole Fear Factor" in people and its a community law !!! "UNCONSTITUTION" ? Hell yeah !... it is but ...who will fight against..."Child Safely"!!! After working 30+ years,paying taxes,and giving this country my all....it pisses me off that someone can tell me where and where I CAN NOT live !!! ...Sorry People But I don t BELIEVE in this country s ..Constitution,or its so call Freedom,anymore...and it kills me to feel this way!!!

Bagger i feel the same way you do i gave this country 7 years of my life also one son was in the air force and one just came home from Iraq when the cops came to my house that day and wanted to come in and i said no (remember i was not on probation nor parole) i felt like i was violated and i knew they had no right to come in and i was thinking what is this? Nazi Germany and to add insult to injury the cop had the nerve to tell me that since i was a RSO they had every right to come into my house there is NO law saying that i was so pissed off yes i know i keep on repeating this story but to this day it still burns me up to be told by someone in this country the country i once served that i had no right to live there made me upset what in the hell has happened to America? why do all of these politicians and lawmakers say that this is a free country? that the US Constitution is the law of the land yet they have no problem saying that some people have no right to live where they want cant go to a park or to the movies or to the mall yet they have no problem whatsoever in taking your tax dollars to fund parks and things like that then we have Lunkhead(oops sorry typo) Lunsford who likes to beat on women and use drugs hell he was not even a good parent out partying instead of being at home watching his kid going around asking lawmakers to take more and more rights away from people i know damnit i know i sound like a broken record but every time i think about it i get upset where the hell is the ACLU? where are all of the civil rights activist's??? but i am still working on what i plan on doing i really wish that all of us could get together lol have a BBQ and plan a revolt or it just gets so bloody frustrating i want all of us off of this thing America needs to be America again the Land of the Free that is what this country is about freedom well suppose to be anyway but we are not proud anymore if anything we are a Nation of shame....................

Firecracker,I feel you and others pain ,at a local VFW hall this last weekend myself and 500 bikers rode in honor of this countrys military....At a near by air force base the "WBC" group were in protest against soldiers ,gays,and alot of our rights....As we rode thur the air force base with our US flags ,face to face with the "WBC" the group spitting on the US flags they throw on the ground and signs wishing SOLDIERS and GAYS and some CHRISTIANS to DIE !!! I still had deep inside of me some faith and hope left in this country,maybe because of the mile long line or so of bikers ahead of me in protest for freedom,maybe when I was shaking the 100 or so hands of old soldiers at the VFW hall with signs of war on their faces...Yeah like I said " I DONT BELIEVE " in this country when it comes to its "SO CALLED FREEDOM"! Even with this countrys boot on my neck holding me down with the unjust "REGISTRY" ...I will still stand with my military brothers and keep up the fight for ALL PEOPLE!!!
