Well, it finally happened...someone was assaulted on Halloween. Problem is, and of course no one's gonna think about this...those men aren't on the registry, if even one of them were then it definitely would've been mentioned in the article. Another thing...I know I shouldn't, but I can't help but wonder...she was 14, isn't she old enough to know not to walk up to just anyone's vehicle? Something's odd about this...

Why? If anything this illustrates the fact that this country's obsession with RSOs on Halloween and all these insane rules about not turning on porch lights and prohibiting pumpkins does NOTHING to protect children.

Who is trick or treating at 14? Isn't that a little old? Usually you go to a friend's house because they're having a costume party.

First of all the girl was 'lured' to a car... not trick or treating at a home where she was yanked inside and terrorized... which is why they prohibit RSOs from giving out candy...

She is 14 so she is probably in HS or is a really old 8th grader. She is also sexually mature and has a mind of a sexually mature female with wild hormones raging through her on the look out for BOYs. So was she lured or did she flirt and they offer her a ride? I remember 14 too, exactly how was she lured? Candy? I'll bet not...

I hate articles like this, because they usually have far more holes in them than they do answers.
