Most states require registration if the state you moved from was lifetime registration and your new state isn't like in your situation. Sometimes in this unfair situation you can be arrested for failure to register even though your new state doesn't require it,

It really is a due process violation and unconstitutional because every free man can relocate because he doesn't like a state or city because of politicians that are hostile to him and his family. Registered citizens don't have this basic freedom.

I don't pretend I'm a lawyer or a shrink I'm just a registered citizen for a very long time back when everyone said.... You can't put people's pictures up on the registry because it's unconstitutional. Boy how things have changed!

I'm from Floriduh and the information I've gathered... and the reason why I made sure my son didn't spend 1 night in Floriduh upon his release and move to PA.. is that .. if you move to another state you're still lifetime registration. I doubt that's changed in the last year or 2.

You are right. The new state takes your registration period from the old and keeps it. However, Surviving will not have to register in Florida, onlyb the new state, but his picture will always be there.
Getting your son out of Florida before he had to register there was the smartest thing to do.

I too come from Floriduh now living in Massachusettts my PO here tells me every time he makes out a progress report he states he sees no reason to continue my probation. They never seem to notice the effort. I am on probation till 2022 and will be 58 in a few days.
