Do they have a quota of 15 men per sting or something?

The guys in the photo they show don't look very old; most look to be in their early-to-mid 20s. The "children" the officers were pretending to be were probably 15 in many of these cases. It's sad these young men are having their lives ruined when they didn't actually harm anybody.

You know, sometimes I wonder about these stings, if they are just a way to get white guys arrested. Like, the states where these happen--Florida, Michigan, and Arizona seem to be big ones--are states that lock up lots and lots of minorities. If they don't get some white people in prison, they start to seem like the racists they are. Instead of fixing things by, say, not locking up so many minorities and not disproportionately prosecuting minorities for drug crimes, they start inventing internet sex crimes that they know will bring in mostly white guys. Look, the FL police aren't racist, they just arrested 15 white dudes! I honestly think that's part of the reason behind these internet sex stings and child porn busts.

But wait...there was a case out of Alabama in the last two months where a prosecutor who specialized in cheld sex crimes spacifically was him self caught up in one of those internet stings. What he believed to be a 15 year old girl turned out to be an actual cop posing as a minor. He had numerous graphic conversations with her, one of which he apparently got her to masturbate for him over the phone, he was arrested while attempting to meet her at her home.
Would you believe a judge through out the case stating in order for this guy to be prosecuted there would have to be an actual victim, not some cop pretending to be one. Here is a link to the tory....such bullshit

It seems if you are a cop the same laws do not apply to you if you are a average citizen you will be placed before the firing squad! raked over the coals and made to suffer not only you but your family as well double standard

I would think an officer of the law should get MORE time than then average Joe since they should KNOW better. Instead, they go after someone who has no record, never been in trouble before, and throw the book at them. They should be getting counseling, not prison...ridiculous
