O.k I know marriage is difficult period but mine is extremely harder. Not just because my husband is currently serving time for a sex offense, its is just because he is serving time PERIOD! when my husband was first arrested in 2006 he swore his innocence and I believe him to this very day. I stand by him always and no matter what I will always be there. I LOVE HIM soooooo much. My problem is this and this is where my question comes in. I support my husband 110%. I do as much as I can BUT I also have to take care of home,myself, and our 14 year old child who is going through some serious anger issues do to his incarceration. My husbands has changed from that sweet, caring,loveable man that I loved sooooooo much to a selfish man whom I just love cause he is my husband. Over the years I have lost respect for him because he has turned selfish everything is him, him, him. It seems we argue every phone call and each and every letter. Its always the same thing ABOUT MONEY!!! I dont have much to send and that pisses him off. I want to save my marriage. do you think he will change back when he comes home in a year or two or should I just forget it. Let me just say I am so glad I came across this website because people are so judge mental even those whose husbands are also incarcerated because they seem to think they are better in my opinion because when it comes to a sex crime they dont want to hear the story automatically he is guilty and so are you. Guilty by association.(thats not true)my "FRIENDS and FAMILY" say leave. not because of anything he has done but his upcoming release.this they think will make THEM look bad. I dont care. I still love my husband and I want it to work. any ideas?
