I found this, and thought of those of you who have sacrificed your life to continue living or to choose to live with an RSO...I bet there are many aspects of your marriage that are SO, SO good like this definition describes...but you also know the deepest, darkest secrets of your spouse...and they know yours, too! Remember the goods, you are on the right path.

DealRMe, did you even look at the link Chickabee provided? If you had, the post would make sense. Chickabee isn't a troll.

Thought, I did read it. I guess I misunderstood it. It's saying marriage is beautiful because it's dirty work? Sorry, not sure what that means is all. Like a "stick together thick or thin"?

Pretty much sums it up nicely chickabee lol.

Yes! I just like how it describes the reality of marriage - it's not always pretty, it's hard work, but it is SO worth it...and there are so many reasons why we love our RSO significant others...that makes marriage with them worth it...despite their imperfections - as public as they may be.

I definitely get the sentiment of this. It's constantly depressed and astounded me the number of people who think I should just dump my husband. We've been together 20 years in total, he's my family. My marriage is not optional, it's a part of me!

I love this! It is worded perfectly. A marriage is like everything else in life in terms of you get out what you put in.
