My husband was locked up Saturday for an honest mistake. Now he is facing a new charge and a VOP in Florida which is a hard state for SO/SP. I don’t know if he will get a bond or will stay locked up until this is all over. I can’t eat sleep nothing. He could be facing 30 if the judge orders for the VOP. I have people around me that I know love me but I feel like they truly don’t understand what I’m going through. I feel so alone. Any advice would be great.
Does he have a good lawyer?
The first thing you must do is take care of yourself (easier said than done I know). Your husband needs you and you can only give when your cup isn’t empty. I would call your doctor and maybe not explain about why your husband is in this situation but that it is causing you immense stress and you can’t eat or sleep.
Also try to focus on things you can do with family or friends that you enjoy that will help keep you busy when you are not visiting or talking to your husband.
Basically keep busy and keep healthy.
The second thing you may consider is start looking to move out of Florida. It is the worst place to be on sex offender parole or probation in the country.
