I do hope that the governor reads this letter its a good letter.

It is a very good letter. I have been thinking the same things as what they stated all along. Hub isn't a threat, but they conciser him one. Yet they release others who are more likely to wind up back in jail or prison. I know hub isn't one that will be amount the 9k prisoners that need to be released, but I do know many more men and women fit into the same catigory and glad these people are speaking out!

I think more people need to speak out. The overcrowding is getting to be a big issue hear as well I do wonder what your government would do and my if all the family members and mates did a protest thing what would they do?

Your right Coastie, he is a pompous ass. He won't listen to anyone else's ideas to comply. The overcrowding is moving from state to county that counties will have to deal with the same issues that the state is dealing with - overcrowding and inhuman treatment and healthcare. He doesn't want to release inmates because it won't look good for re-election.

If I had the option, I too would leave CA, but sadly that isn't in the cards for us.

SuchAs, people have complained, and has been heard by the Supreme Court, which is forcing him to relieve overcrowding. The former Prosecuting Attorney in him can't see that there are many people in prison who are serving unjust sentenses or that they are safe to release into society.

Let me gess its a tough on crime thing? Or is it a money thing? I hope that your supreme court can make them let people out........yes my bit of Australia is heading down this road as well.

It's both SuchAs...hopefully other states and countries will see what CA is going through and change their trajectory.

If things changed drastically there, i would love to live where i grew up.....Have you seen the movie, "The Birds"/..That's my old 'Stomping grounds' and i am always having to explaining the the movie shows the town of Bodega(The Schoolhouse scenes) and the town of Bodega Bay(The restaurant, the 'Tides', and the Union 76 gas station blowing up scenes) are actually about 10 miles apart...

I wish they do to but hear they are not its getting pretty bad . There's even some clown hear who thinks we should have the same laws for SO that you guys have in Florida.

Bodega Bay is beautiful. Nice place to live (if u ever came back to CA).
