My wife and I planned a 3 day cruise to the Bahamas in late February, Have been really excited about a getaway with her. They just called and told me because of the security concerns, they are emailing me a form to fill out and within 7-10 business days they will give me an answer on whether or not they will allow me to go on the cruise. Has anyone else had this happened to them? Mine was a no contact, no victim crime

A friend of mine had this happen to him. They just called and asked what his charge was, when it took place. They also asked about his case. He was approved for the trip without any problem. I understand this is normal now days.

Spraky; Over Five years ago, around the time tracking of SO travel began I believe, we planned a 3 day cruise to the Bahamas, all went well until boarding to leave Nassau. When his ID was scanned an alarm went off and he was guided by a employee to a seating area. He was the ONLY ONE out of all passengers to be put aside in this manner. After waiting two hours he was called, and guided, to customs.They went through his bags thoroughly. A registrant, and the only one put through this on the ship. They were looking for something and and it wasn't an extra bottle of Rum. His was a no contact,no victim crime as well.

Sloan, that would be very scary for me. and Phillip, I responded to their email, with my case info back to 1998, and informed them it was a no contact case. I also submitted the requirement from Registration that I planned this trip and have all the dates of departure and return. I'm hoping this goes well, thank you both for your input

Does anyone have any letters from these places denying service to you? If so, save them and share them (after hiding your personal info, of course). The best way to keep up with these is to have documented evidence of discrimination.
