Well, as many of you know I have been appearing at my son's trial. I wanted to be here for my son, but due to the fact that I was a potential witness they would not let me be in court. I testified yesterday, and I still do not feel as though I was any help for my son's case. I am Definitely not happy with the attorney I hired. But this is extremely hard, when you are trying to hire an attorney from out of state. Today are closing arguments. Strong testimonials from the girls, but essentially no DNA and no physical evidence. So not sure as to which way it will go. I have been praying and know that once I reach acceptance and give up on the powerlessness that I will be better. this is so much more emotional then I anticipated. I hate seeing my son in court like this. I feel so powerless. Keep me in your prayers please.....
Perhaps the best thing to do is to put this in the hands of God. You've done all you could. I'm so glad to see that you know that you WILL feel better, even if you don't feel it right now. That gives hope to all of us. Thank you for your wisdom.
It may not be the power you want since you have no control over this outcome....but you have the power to carry on and do what is right. And that is love, forgiveness, compassion, and peace.
