non-consensual sex is wrong. and when someone can not give consent because of mental incapability? that is no different than forcing sex on someone who is mentally impaired (unbalanced).

There is reasonable doubt draped all over this though. Who knows if she had a time of lucidity when he was there. Doctors say that can and does happen. The staff of the care center are not medically licensed to say if she could or could not give consent.

Regardless I posted this not because of the weird situation, but more to show that a politician was not getting protected by the mere fact of having been a politician. That the "ick" factor extends to him too.

i think the big part of the 'ick' factor is that she may well have not been coherent enough to be able to voice consent. and the fact that that there was someone in the same room only a curtain away.

That person a curtain away though also had dementia or Alzheimer's so they are also a poor witness. I'm doing advocates job for her, where is she on this lol!

i don't care if the room mate was batty as all get out. they were still only a curtain away. what 4 or 5 feet? just the thought of that is a major 'ick' factor!!!!!!
