Hey Everybody,
I turned in a request to transfer to PA to be w/ my wife and son. I learned shortly thereafter that they'd received the request and had 45 days to respond. That time passed on 3/13. After not hearing last Friday, I'm guessing that the county in PA would relay their findings to the state, for them to pass it to GA state, and then down to my county.
I received a text message from my PO a couple hours ago that my transfer had been denied. He didn't give me details but he asked me about 'treatment'. And we had discussed this and he more or less said that since I took it while I was in prison, that he would count me as having taken it. Well this didn't fly with PA.
He then tells me that his supervisor told him that I'll have to start taking it. This is awesome - right? I get to go sit through the class that I already took, which is really disgusting I'll add, and pay something like $20 per session and the therapist, counselor, whatever it is get to mandate that I take periodic polygraph tests which cost around $225 or something like that every quarter or so.
And this will hold me up moving up there for like a year or so maybe? I believe treatment is 1-2 years and I'm guessing that PA will refuse me until I'm done, or at least partly done.

You may not like this condition of having to take treatment again, but sometimes we have to play the game in order for you to get what you want.
When we got here the PO pretty much insisted my son take SO treatment altho it stated on his release that he was not. I paid a lawyer to clear that up.
I don't know how it would work since you're still in GA.
