We encourage you to listen to the International Megan's Law <a href="https://www.freeconferencecallhd.com/playback_rudd/?n=HoHR1/uynzc">conference call </a>
recorded Wednesday, February 10th. Special guests were Janice Bellucci, attorney and CA-RSOL President; Chance Oberstein, attorney; and Paul Rigney representing Registrant Travel Action Group (RTAG).
This law has captured the attention of people throughout the United States. As a result, the turnout for the teleconference was absolutely astonishing! In fact, this law has been the subject of numerous news articles and even some notable editorials condemning the law for placing a mark (the LA Times called it a “scarlet letter”) on the passports of American citizens.
We MUST draw a line in the sand and do everything in our power to STOP this law from achieving the ends for which it was passed. And I do not mean bringing an end to sex trafficking because, as you well know, this law will have little to no effect on the trafficking of humans. But if it is allowed to go forward unchallenged, the scarlet letter will be the death knell for registrants (and their families) who wish to travel abroad unhampered and unmolested by border security.
This brings me to the issue of funding the litigation. Constitutional challenges are extremely expensive, and out-of-pocket cost for this litigation will be considerable. Ms. Bellucci has given us what I believe is a conservative estimation at $100,000. But the money is out there. I'm convinced of that. There are more than 750,000 individuals registered in the United States and nearly 2000 on our email list. Many of you receiving this appeal have recently donated to the Rhode Island lawsuit. Thank you! If you didn’t donate for that litigation, please consider contributing now. No donation is too small, so give whatever you can TODAY towards this extremely important and urgent litigation.

Thanks, Droid. Yes, worth listening to and to get educated on the topic that affects all of us in one way or another. I was on this call but I believe they had to mute the Q&A session which is unfortunate since there were a lot of good questions. But I guess they were protecting everyone's privacy.

The is also a pertinent article in News week you can google for "educational" info....I'm sorry that some who "don't ever expect to want to travel out side the US" are having trouble seeing this a an issue pertinent to them, But if this spreads it will litterally become a "unique identifier we will all be forced to deal with beyond simply googling us on the Registry...and the IML identification is based upon ignorin ex post facto protections (claw back) and whether or not you think you are "low level" or not this law includes you on or "pff" the registry....If you object to having to self-identify your self every Halloween how about haveing to self identify by showing your Big Red "Unique" Identifier on you license plate as you dire around? etc etc etc....in Germany no one cared what % Jewish blood a jew had they leveled the playing field and incinerated young and old practicing "Jew" homosexual, "pervert" on the bottom teir or not... The claw back was in force for the "better than thous" the "it doesn't concern ME because....????
