Yes this is interesting - I think it does not happen more becasue so many people falsely accused are so glad to be done with it and they just want to go on with their lives. By the time they are exonerated though their lives have certainly been impacted in many negative ways - and I am not sure about Canada but in the USA many people are of the mind set that even if proven innocent in the courts once accused you are still guilty I applaud his courage!

Well when it comes to the legal stuff, it is all about the proof and where that burden lies. This is a victory but his case was special, he proved that he was a long way away from the alleged crime scene and I am sure there is even more to that story too. The fact that there was a clear cut false allegation helped this.

thank goodness that he could prove that he was miles away!!!

there have been other instances that this has happened and it did no good. it's the thought that if you play, you pay, where there's smoke there must be fire and if accused that there must be some truth in it.....
