No one on this board has stopped me from missing my husband. I will miss his behind until those prison gates open and he comes out to me and never have to return inside. He will be mine forever then. Like I said you guys have not stopped me from missing him but ALL of you have taught me how to cope with missing him much better than any therapist, "so called family, or friend" not that your not my friends. I mean "FRIENDS" who I have known for years and my "FAMILY" who is suppose to be there in hard times. Most of the two groups have deserted me(surprise) but you guys since the day I met you all have been their. day and night and I really appreciate that. When I first joined this group my marriage was in the toilet and it hurt because I love him so much. I believe he loves me too but cant express it while he is inside. I couldn't see that on my own but you all opened my eyes and gave me great advice and believe me I took it now my marriage is back on track. For that I will forever be thankful to ALL of you. NEW and OLD you guys are the greatest.What is so great about you guys is I don't feel judged so I really listen and freely talk and ask questions.Some so called support groups you have to beat around the bush about the actual crime because you don't want to be judged.Not here. I can express myself. I JUST WANTED TO SAY THANK YOU GUYS! I APPRECIATE YOU SO MUCH....
Everyone here, and I think I speak for most of the members, know what it's like to be abandoned by longtime friends when something horrible happens like a sex offender charge. Unfortunately that is the moment when you find out who your true friends are. But like I said most of the members if not all have been there and know what it's like so they will not ever judge you and will offer any help they can. You will find out who your true friends are and the rest become...."Unimportant." Yes you've had some good times with them but when the chips are on the table where did they go?
You are exceptionally strong by standing next to your man and most likely his strength and inspiration to get through his ordeal. Without someone like you it makes the hell he's going through unbearable. You are a strong person and in the end you will be rewarded with a wonderful life.
We need more people like you who have the strength and character to see through the BS and do what's in your heart!
