http://www.ktla.com/news/landing/ktla-mcinerney-trial-gay-rights-group-urges-plea-deal,0,2666594.story OK if this kid did it i can accept that but to try him as a adult? this is what i really do not understand they have a fit when it comes to sex they say that a child can not consent and my position is that sure a child should not be having sex BUT you can not have it both ways they say that a child's brain is not developed enough for them to consent yet you take that same 13 14 or 15 year old and they do a crime like say rob someone or kill someone then the first thing you know they want to try the kid as a ADULT!? i just don't get it just pisses me off to no end
I understand your frustrations! As a mother of a child who was 17 at the time of his charges, believe me, I understand! But, my opinion........ boys are charged and convicted differently than females. It appears that females can do no wrong, where as males....well they want to lock em up and throw away the key!
