We are in the process of waiting for the detective that took on our case to speak with some sort of ADA to determine federal charges. And I know peoples general reaction is "It takes as long as it takes". But how long? It has only been two weeks, I think. But in my mind, they have a confession and physical property seized in the search. So how long until we should know if they proceed federally or not? Presently looking at 5 years for CP and some other random charge about computers. And the federal charge is to determine (I think) manufacturing and/or distribution. Which I know can carry a long 15 year or more sentence, per charge.

We have a long road and I have ever growing list of questions. I take a lot of advice and info from all of your postings and try to apply them o our situation. However, right now, we are dealing with a lot of "If's" and "But's" and "When's"... and yes it is still early which makes this hole thing that much more difficult. We are trying to remain focused on the moment, which finding out if we are federal or state at this point, and then we do we go? What's next?

So many questions, so many uncertainties. Trying to remain calm is like telling your child not to eat all the halloween candy in one day. But..we are trying.
