I was told by a wife that a person who received about 10 years for cp in Montgomery al got it reduced to 33 months by something called klear! I may have it misspelled. I will try to get into the law library to see. it was a 2012 case. what could this be?

Was Klear his judge's name? As far as I know, the only people who can change the length of a criminal sentence are a judge, governor or the president.

so, Klear was the prisoner appealing his sentence. That is a much more reasonable way to calculate points. Thanks for the link.

Yeah I agree hank, this is actually a somewhat common sense approach to CP -- I am surprise this actually exists!?!

every time i read or hear of the police or fbi compiling CP and putting on the net it just burns my ass!!!

i don't care if the are the "law". they are doing the same damn things that they arrest people for. possessing and distributing CP. they scream, wail and fight to prosecute someone who does that because it further harms the victims, perpetuates the crime.

but it's A-OK for them to do it....
